Despite the ongoing popularity of the series it's not taken care to increase the quality of the annual installment harmed the sales in "NBA 2K21." This negative effect of sales may grow with "NBA 2K22" since it hasn't been able to raise the quality of the series. The lack of focus on this core feature has come with the rise of "MyTeam" or "MyCareer," two game modes of "NBA 2K22" which give players an advantage only attainable if they use more real money to help make their team or player stronger. The two games are the most frequently played, and it's tough to compete without spending more money.
The most lucrative game, "MyTeam," is similar to the previous two installments. The game's mode is purchasing a "card pack" that contains basketball players concealed The players purchase a "card pack" hoping to find an outstanding player like Michael Jordan or Lebron James.
