Most Diablo 4 players farm Pandemonium Fragments too narrowly. The better plan is to build a loop that feeds seasonal reputation, Superior Lair Keys, boss loot, and Mythic crafting at the same time, while keeping enough D4 Gold available for repairs, enchanting, and routine upgrades. Fists of Fate fits into that loop, but it shouldn't dictate every activity you run.

Start With the Seasonal Circuit

Pandemonium Ruptures are the engine behind Season 14 progression. Normal Ruptures are useful, but Surging Ruptures inside Helltides deserve priority because a Mastery completion can summon a walker event. Colossal Ruptures are even better for planning since they guarantee that spawn. After defeating the walker, enter the Deathtoll Chamber and collect its Superior Lair Key, especially at high Torment levels where the chamber guarantees at least one key.

Run This Order, Not Random Activities

Save your keys for a proper Corrupted Reaper session instead of opening one boss hoard every time a key appears. This cuts down on loading screens and town trips, and it makes your hourly loot much easier to judge. My preferred route is Helltide Ruptures, Mastery events, the Colossal option when available, every resulting Deathtoll Chamber, then several Corrupted Reaper kills in a row. Claim repeatable Glints of Hope rewards during the same session, since each one now guarantees a Pandemonium Fragment.

Choose the highest Torment you can clear quickly, not merely survive.
Keep Ruptures open long enough to finish their extra encounter steps.
Spend Superior Lair Keys in batches after building a small reserve.
Collect reputation rewards before logging out or changing characters.

This route works because a slow boss kill can erase the benefit of higher Torment scaling. Fast movement, strong area DPS, and a loadout that deletes elites will usually beat a flashy tier that turns every chamber into a slog.

Where Fists of Fate Really Fits

Fists of Fate is an all-class Unique in the general Unique pool, so no single Lair Boss should be treated as its personal drop target. The Beast in the Ice can still produce the gloves, but its dedicated Season 14 rewards don't make it the special answer for this item. Pick the boss whose class-specific table also contains gear your build wants, then treat Fists of Fate as an additional high-value roll. From what I've seen, that approach feels far less wasteful than repeating one boss with no useful backup loot.

Compare Your Boss Options

The table below is less about a fixed ranking and more about choosing the activity that matches your current goal. A boss with useful class drops can be better than a theoretically attractive target because every run has a second way to improve your character, and spare materials can support Diablo IV Gold purchases such as repairs and enchanting.

Activity Best Use Fists of Fate Plan
Corrupted Reaper Fragments and seasonal boss loot Add general Unique rolls
Other Lair Bosses Class-specific Unique hunting Farm the table your build needs
High-volume endgame content Experience, glyphs, and general loot Use as a side source
Inspect every glove drop instead of instantly salvaging it. A normal Fists of Fate with a strong power can reveal whether your build actually benefits from the item before you commit scarce materials to the glove slot.

Spend Fragments With a Plan

The Horadric Cube recipe costs four Pandemonium Fragments and requires an eligible Unique with Item Power 850 or higher. The submitted item controls the slot, not the final Unique, so using Fists of Fate as the base does not improve your odds of receiving Mythic Fists of Fate. Any eligible Unique gloves can work, but the result is a random class-usable Mythic glove and rerolls the original item's affixes and Greater Affixes.

The Mistake That Costs the Most

Don't craft the moment you reach four fragments. First test the build with a regular glove, compare its effect against your other required Unique slots, and remember that only one crafted Mythic can be equipped. A naturally dropped Mythic doesn't share that crafted-item limit, so continued boss farming remains valuable after a successful Cube result. At least in my experience, waiting until the build is stable prevents a lot of regret and keeps your Fragment income pointed at the slot that actually changes your DPS.
